The New Texas Symphony Orchestra (NTSO) is a community orchestra, an all-volunteer group dedicated to providing Dallas communities with an excellent symphonic experience. Our musicians come from various backgrounds looking to express their talents in a full orchestra setting.

Rehearsals are typically held on Wednesdays at the Sammons Center for the Arts near downtown Dallas starting in the fall.

If you are interested in auditioning, please submit the audition form below and include any additional information about your playing abilities and ensemble experiences. Due to COVID-19 Protocols, we strongly ask that you come masked to our rehearsals.

Our next Auditions date for all new players:  January 4, 2023 – (tentative based on local, state, and federal guidelines)

Note: If your section is not listed above, we welcome you to inquire and audition as we may place you on our substitution list.
