About Being a Player

The New Texas Symphony Orchestra invites dedicated volunteer musicians to audition for our upcoming season. NTSO is an all-volunteer community orchestra committed to providing Dallas audiences with an excellent symphonic experience while giving musicians the opportunity to perform major orchestral works in a welcoming, high-quality ensemble.

Audition and Rehearsal Information

• Next audition date: Sunday, August 9, 2026

• Rehearsals: Wednesday evenings at the Sammons Center for the Arts near downtown Dallas, beginning in late August.

How to Audition

Please complete the Audition Interest Form below and include information about your playing experience, ensemble background, and current instrument or section. After your form is submitted, a member of the NTSO Auditions Team will contact you with next steps.
